For one of its new production lines Tnuva purchased an innovative pasteurizer. The design conditions of the water required for the pasteurizer were unusual: inlet temperature was 70oC while the required cold water temperature was 34oC. There were two more restrictions: available floor space on site was limited and the cooling tower had to be positioned 10m above the ground.
YWCT designed a five cells cooling tower to fit the available foot print and a special mixing tank to change the working point of the cooling tower and verify that extremely hot water would not get into the cooling tower. The cooling tower, including all piping, valves and gauges was designed and installed by YWCT, as requested.
