For the chillers of the Ir Yamim mall — HVAC’s system, a field erected cooling tower was required.

Due to low noise restrictions and mall’s close proximity to the corrosive environment of the Mediterranean- sea, YWCT had designed and manufactured an innovative, crossflow induced-draft cooling tower,
made of pultruded FRP structure and FRP casing.

This cooling is conceived by 5 cells’ each one equipped with an axial fan, made of anti-corrosive aluminum.

Cooling tower’s parts were sent to the mall and lifted up to its roof to be erected by YWCT’s trained construction team.

The tower was positioned inside a concrete basin — designed by YWCT and casted by the general contractor.
