Yerushalmi was commissioned to replace old cooling towers installed
by us 30 years ago. The old towers, standing in cement pools, were of the cross-flow type;
to enable the cooling tower output to be increased while making full use of the available area,
the replacement towers were designed to operate on the reverse-flow principle,
and to fit the existing concrete pools perfectly. In order to minimize production downtime,
the cooling towers were constructed at our plant and delivered to the site in sections.
When all the parts were ready, our teams dismantled the old
cooling towers in less than five days; a further three days were then required to set up the
new cooling towers at their designated locale.
