Alstom Energy won the bidding as an EPC contractor for a 121 MW
thermal-solar power plant at Ashalìm, Israel.
YWCT was chosen to design and build the cooling tower for the turbine
condenser and accessories.
For this purpose we designed six 14X14m cells in a back-to-back
configuration.
To minimize noise nuisance to nearby communities, we designed a noise
reduction wall at fan deck level.
To ensure that the structure will last, the HW was manufactured of
SS904-grade steel.
The large pumping station was covered with FRP to minimize dirt, dust,
and sunlight
