Mekorót desalination plant, Ashkelon
PRINTIn order to minimize C02 levels in the desalinated water, YWCT built four cement degasifiers: two 14 meters in diameter, and two 7 meters in diameter.
Water circulation was accomplished by means of a pultruded fiberglass surface / plate and gravitational sprinklers.
The air in the counter-flow to the water was thrust by centrifugal nozzles.
