Owens Corning, the biggest glass manufacturer in the world, expanded its activity in India and built a new manufacturing facility near Mumbai. 9,000 TR chillers were required for its production line. Our company was awarded with the project to install the cooling towers required for the system after presenting, during bid stage, a complete, comprehensive array of cooling towers, including all connections between the units and their integration with the planned piping system and roof limitations. Our solution was based on local manufactured pultruded FRP while rest of components were imported from Germany and US. The cooling tower, from our Modular FRPP series, were assembled not far away from site and were sent by modules to site for fast and easy installation. This way our company was able to offer on the one hand, a high quality product and on the other hand, reduce transporation cost by hundreds of thousands of dollars.
