Air Products was selected to build an air separation unit (ASU) for one of its customers in Russia, for which a new cooling tower was required. In order to minimize erection time on site, YWCT was asked to build the cooling tower (two 6X6m cells) on its premises.

The cooling tower was designed to be built in modules. The cooling tower was built and tested in our premises and then disassembled into six modules. The modules were shipped to Azov where they were installed by a local team lead by YWCT’s supervisor.

The cooling tower is designed to meet extreme low cold temperatures (-30oC).
