Twenty years ago, YWCT designed an extraordinary combination draft-force concrete cement tower due to high levels of fluoride in the water.

The inner part of the concrete was fully coated with rubber in order to protect it from the fluoride.

For the same reason, wood was chosen as infrastructure.

After so many years, the wood had to be replaced.

In order to minimize the time required for replacement, the entire cell structure (9m by 11m cells) was built outside the cooling tower and lifted and positioned into place in a single unit.
