Dorád Power Plant, Ashkelon
PRINTWood Group GTS was awarded the contract to build the Dorad 800 MW Power Plant in Ashkelon, Israel.
A 14-cell counterflow pultruded fiberglass cooling tower cooling seawater was chosen to condense the steam turbine.
YWCT partnered with SPIG to erect the cooling tower on site.
The structure (m100 long, m24 wide) was erected in less than six months.
