Paz Ashdod Refinery
PRINTFor one of its new production lines, Paz Ashdod Refinery needed a new cooling tower.
Space was limited, so YWCT designed an efficient two-cell counterflow cooling tower made of pultruded FRP.
In order to increase its resistance to hydrofluoric acid (which may accumulate due to heat exchanger failure), a heavy synthetic veil was added by Strongwell, our pultruded FRP supplier.
The new cooling tower was designed to perfectly adjust to the old concrete cooling tower designed by YWCT 30 years ago.
