A new cooling tower was required for the new power plant at Paz Ashdod refinery. In order to assist the customer, YWCT gathered the relevant meteorology data (hourly measurements of dry bulb and relative humidity), analyzed it, and presented Paz with accurate wet bulb conditions thought the year.

What-If analysis helped designers to optimize the process and choose the right design based on wet bulb temperature.

YWCT designed a “plain vanilla” four-cell counterflow cooling tower made of pultruded FRP and supplied the sand filtration system and VFDs for the motor’s fans.
